Experienced Mechanic Wanted

Manveer Transport Pty LTD T/ A Light & Heavy Torque Masters is Automotive Repair Shop based in Rocklea, QLD, specialising in the servicing, maintenance, and repair of light and heavy vehicles. Due to ongoing business demand, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Diagnose, service, and repair company vehicles including trucks, trailers, and light vehicles
2. Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative servicing
3. Identify mechanical and electrical faults and carry out repairs efficiently
4. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
5. Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
6. Work collaboratively with management to minimise vehicle downtime

Skills & Experience Required

1. Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
2. Minimum 2 years’ relevant work experience as a mechanic
3. Experience working with commercial vehicles or transport fleets (preferred)
4. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
