We’re seeking a reliable and caring Environmental Service Worker with experience in cleaning, kitchenhand and servery to support our Bribie Island Aged Care service. In this role, you’ll help create a safe, clean and welcoming environment for our residents by ensuring resident rooms, shared areas and infection control standards are met while supporting our kitchen & laundry areas.What you’ll be doingPerform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and waste removalAssist with meal preparation, serving, and kitchen cleanliness.Set up and clean dining areas, trolleys, and trays.Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of residential areas throughout the facilityImportantly, you will be someone who closely aligns with our organisational values of: Integrity, Compassion, Excellence and Courage.What we’re looking forA reliable team player with a positive attitudeAbility to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygieneExperience in aged care, hospitality, cleaning or laundry (highly regarded)Currently hold a National Police Check (or ability to obtain)Australian Work Rights (Sponsorship unavailable for this role)Employee Benefits:As a not-for-profit, permanent employees can salary package up to $18,549 p.a. tax-free — $15,900 on everyday expenses and $2,649 on meals/entertainment, which can significantly increase your take-home pay.
