Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 per year + Superannuation

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering Technologist to join our growing team in Sydney. This role is ideal for a technically minded professional passionate about renewable energy, system performance, and innovative engineering solutions.

About the Role

As an Engineering Technologist, you will support the design, development, testing, and implementation of solar and renewable energy systems. You will work closely with project managers, installers, and clients to ensure systems are efficient, compliant, and delivered to high industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of solar PV and renewable energy systems

• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation

• Conduct site assessments and system performance evaluations

• Support installation teams with technical guidance and troubleshooting

• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with Australian standards and safety regulations

• Analyze system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability

• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams during project delivery

• Assist in preparing technical reports and project documentation

• Stay updated with developments in renewable energy technologies and industry standards

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field

• Minimum 1 year of relevant industry experience

• Strong understanding of solar PV systems and renewable energy technologies

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering/design software

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with commercial and residential solar projects

• Knowledge of Australian electrical and renewable energy standards

• Familiarity with battery storage systems and EV charging technologies

• Experience using solar design and performance analysis software
