About the opportunity
This senior leadership role is responsible for providing strategic direction, executive support and operational governance for the organisation’s education portfolio. The Education Manager will oversee all core educational operations, policy governance and regulatory compliance for the RTO.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level strategic advice to the director on vocational education strategy, regulatory compliance and emerging training sector trends.
- Establish formal educational policies, monitor their effective implementation, and oversee the delivery of performance plans and comprehensive quality assurance frameworks.
- Oversee the complete delivery of training programs to ensure all organisational KPIs including student enrolment rates, course completion rates and student satisfaction are achieved.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of training programs, analyse student data, and provide evidence-based recommendations to enhance course structure and delivery.
- Develop and administer the annual budget for the education division, monitor cash flow, implement cost management strategies and ensure sound financial governance for all training activities.
- Lead the development of professional teaching and learning proposals, formal reports, compliance submissions and all associated portfolio documentation.
- Manage major strategic educational projects and innovation initiatives aimed at improving educational quality and learner outcomes.
Skills and Qualification
- Formal tertiary qualification in Education Management or a comparable recognised qualification.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience holding an Education Manager position.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing education teams and educational operations.
- Experience in evaluating training program performance and implementing continuous improvement measures.
- Competence in designing and developing high-quality, innovative training and assessment curricula.
- Superior interpersonal communication proficiency and proven ability to produce high-standard written documents for executive use.
