Earthmoving Plant Operator

Stone Dimensions Australia Pty Ltd, based on Forrest Street, South Perth WA 6151, conducts quarrying and stone extraction operations across Western Australia and is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Earthmoving Plant Operator to join its team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating earthmoving machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Operating excavators, loaders, bulldozers, graders, rollers and other plant equipment as required
• Excavating, moving, loading and distributing earth, rock, gravel and other materials
• Carrying out site preparation, levelling, trenching and earthworks activities
• Conducting pre-start inspections and routine maintenance checks on plant and equipment
• Monitoring machinery performance and reporting faults or maintenance requirements
• Following site plans, project specifications and operational instructions
• Ensuring compliance with workplace health, safety and environmental procedures
• Maintaining accurate records relating to equipment operation and maintenance
• Working collaboratively with supervisors and site personnel to achieve project objectives

 
About You:

• At least 1 year of relevant experience as an Earthmoving Plant Operator or in a similar role
• Demonstrated experience operating earthmoving and construction plant machinery
• Strong understanding of civil construction and earthworks operations
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
• Ability to work effectively in remote and fast-paced environments
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum
