Our centres provide a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where children are encouraged to learn, explore and develop through play-based learning programs. The Role

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Early Childhood Teacher

Key Responsibilities

1. Planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs for young children in accordance with the EYLF
2. Supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing through play-based learning experiences
3. Observing and assessing children’s progress and preparing developmental records and reports
4. Discussing children’s learning, development and progress with parents
5. Supervising and mentoring educators and assistant educators within the room
6. Building positive relationships with children, families and team members
7. Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework, centre policies and child safety requirements
8. Maintaining a safe, healthy and stimulating environment for children
9. Participating in staff meetings, professional development and centre improvement initiatives

Skills and Requirements

1. Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification)
2. At least 1 year experience working as an early childhood teacher
3. Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
4. Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
5. Current Working With Children Check
6. Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
7. Passion for early childhood education and child development
