The Role
We are seeking a Full-Time Experienced Developer Programmer to join our core product team in Melbourne. We are looking for a software engineer who lives by best practices—someone who understands that "done" means code that is high-quality, maintainable, and extendable. Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Micro-services & Connectivity: Develop and scale micro-services that interface with diverse partner APIs and ingest high-volume data into NoSQL environments.
- Financial Ecosystem Integration: Build and maintain seamless integration services for major platforms including Xero, QuickBooks, and MYOB.
- PEPPOL Leadership: Enhance and maintain our proprietary PEPPOL e-invoicing access point, ensuring alignment with the latest global framework updates.
- Blockchain Innovation: Maintain and evolve our blockchain service, converting invoices into encrypted NFTs via Solidity smart contracts.
- Quality Assurance: Write robust unit tests and end-to-end integration scenarios to ensure a fully automated, fail-safe deployment pipeline.
- Technical Research: Provide technical documentation and strategic solutions based on evolving PEPPOL standards and Software Partner updates.
Skills & Experience Required
- Education: Tertiary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years in professional software development using modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- FinTech Domain: 4+ years of experience working with enterprise APIs (Xero, MYOB, QBO).
- E-Invoicing Expertise: 2+ years of hands-on experience with PEPPOL, XML schematrons, and a solid understanding of AS4 transport mechanisms.
- Web Development: Proven track record of building responsive, user-friendly web applications.
- Blockchain: 1+ years of experience with Solidity and Smart Contracts.

- Frontend: React, Styled Components, JSS, TypeScript.
- Backend: Node.js, RESTful APIs (JSON-based), and decoupled architecture.
