We are looking for a dental technician with the requisite knowledge and experience in planning and construction of surgical guides and prosthesis for dental implantology. The successful applicant will work and be responsible for duties including the following:
·Construct and mould plasterand wax modelsfrom impressions of the patient’s mouth/or teeth or 3 D Printing of the patient model, teeth and radiographic and surgical guide.
·Use the models to construct and repair dental appliances including dental prosthesis, implant guides, prosthetic appliances, and mouthguards using a range of materials.
·Polish and finish dentalappliances with a high degreeof attention to detail prior to being placed in patient’s mouth.
·Use a wide range of techniques including plaster casting, metal casting, metal polishing, wax modelling, ceramics, wire bending, electroplating and sandblasting.
·Use computer-aided design and manufacturing technology in the construction of dental appliances.
·Make appliances for patientswith cleft palatesand plates
