The Opportunity

Due to growth, we are currently seeking a highly motivated Cost Estimator to join our high performing Tendering team based in Western Sydney. In this role you will play a vital role in accurately estimating project costs in accordance with required technical and company standards, ensuring profitability, and supporting the successful completion of water infrastructure projects.

Your strength lies in understanding the project scope and working closely with the delivery team to develop comprehensive cost estimates that align with project requirements and budget constraints. You are an individual that enjoys partnering with others to develop a strategy, estimation & managing project risks.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field
  • Demonstrated experience in construction tender estimation / submissions or as a civil, water or sewer engineer, or Quantity Surveyor who has experience in the water/wastewater sector,
  • Ensure compliance with the Interflow Standard through tender development, approval, negotiation, and final handover to the Project Delivery Team,
  • High level of IT proficiency, computer literacy, MS Office Suite,
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
