Responsibilities of the role include:
- Prepare, interpret, and maintain contracts with local fishermen, seafood suppliers, and logistics partners, ensuring all agreements reflect Bona Fresh's commitment to sustainable sourcing and responsible fishing practices.
- Review and negotiate variations to contracts, including pricing adjustments, delivery schedules, and quality specifications, to secure the highest quality seafood while supporting long-term partnerships with our supply network.
- Respond to inquiries and resolve contractual issues arising from supply chain operations, such as delivery discrepancies, freshness standards, or compliance with sustainability certifications, acting as the primary point of contact between Bona Fresh and external parties.
- Manage all contract-related documentation and paperwork, including supplier agreements, purchase orders, delivery confirmations, and compliance records, ensuring accurate record-keeping for audits and regulatory requirements.
- Analyse potential risks associated with contract terms (e.g., supply fluctuations, seasonal availability, cold-chain logistics) and advise senior management on contractual matters requiring attention, implementing decisions to protect the company's commercial interests.
- Establish and maintain stakeholder and supplier relationships to identify and minimise contractual risks, maximise contract value, and ensure all partners align with Bona Fresh's mission of promoting a healthier ocean and community.
To be competent in this role, you must have:
- Diploma’s qualification (or higher).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Keen eye for detail with proven ability to juggle competing priorities effectively.
- Demonstrates the highest standards of integrity, discretion, and accountability.
