About the Role
We are seeking a detail-focused Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our NSW team. This role supports Architectural Design teams with precise technical drawings for diverse construction projects, in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare accurate 2D and 3D civil engineering drawings, plans and sketches using industry-standard software.
2. Work closely with internal teams to interpret design specifications and client requirements.
3. Assist with project data analysis, basic calculations and material cost estimation to align drawings with budget and project specifications.
4. Review, revise and update drawings as per stakeholder feedback, maintain version control and document all changes clearly.
5. Support site survey work and collect field data as required, and integrate survey data into drafting documents.
6. Adhere to company CAD standards and industry best practices, ensuring high accuracy and compliance in all drafting work.
7. Maintain organised filing of drawings, specifications and project documentation for easy team access.
8. Liaise with construction teams and contractors to clarify drawing details and ensure alignment with project specifications.
Key Skills & Requirements
1. Possess at least 4 years of solid working experience as a Civil Engineering Draftsperson, with complete relevant civil engineering project drawing works on hand.
2. Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, 2D Model or Civil 3D, with ability to produce precise 2D/3D technical drawings efficiently.
3. Sound knowledge of civil engineering principles.
4. Strong attention to detail, accuracy and time management, with ability to meet tight deadlines.
5. Excellent team communication and collaboration skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
