At JRC Civils, we are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer (both Metro and DIDO opportunities) to support the design, planning, and delivery of site works across earthworks, drainage, concrete, underground/above-ground services, and roads/pavements. You will play a key role in coordinating with project teams, providing technical guidance, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.
We’re seeking engineers with strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting project managers and supervisors with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Providing engineering input and technical advice during project delivery.
- Reviewing designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Monitoring site works to ensure compliance with design, safety, and quality requirements.
- Conducting site inspections, surveys, and feasibility assessments.
- Identifying and resolving engineering challenges with practical solutions.
- Maintaining accurate technical records and project documentation.
- Liaising with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams to achieve project objectives.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in civil/project engineering.
- Strong technical knowledge across earthworks, drainage, pavements, and services.
- Proficiency in engineering software's
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and quality systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
