We at Indian restaurant seeking passionate and skilled Chefs and Cooks to join our team. If you have experience working with authentic Indian flavours, traditional cooking techniques and enjoy creating high-quality dishes, we would love to hear from you.

CHEF – Key Responsibilities

  1. Plan menus and assist in determining food quantities and cost
  2. Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian dishes using authentic methods
  3. Monitor food quality, taste, presentation and portion control
  4. Train and supervise Cooks and Kitchenhands
  5. Order and maintain inventory of spices, produce and kitchen supplies
  6. Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and improve existing recipes
  7. Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth food service
  8. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and kitchen regulations

COOK – Key Responsibilities

  1. Inspect, prepare and select quality ingredients for cooking
  2. Measure, chop, blend, season and cook dishes following recipes
  3. Monitor cooking processes to maintain consistency and flavour
  4. Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to meet service demands
  5. Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, tools and work areas
  6. Assist with stock rotation and ingredient management
  7. Support the Chef in preparing new recipes and menu items

Requirements (Both Roles)

  1. Minimum 1 year experience in a commercial kitchen (Indian cuisine)
  2. Strong understanding of Indian spices, regional dishes and traditional techniques
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  4. Reliable, team-focused and committed to food hygiene and safety
  5. Good communication and organisational skills
