Our restaurant features a range of delicious burgers, pizzas, pasta, and other quality meals, all served in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

As we grow, we are seeking multiple Chef and Cook positions to join our team. We are looking for passionate food professionals who understand Australian tastes and dining standards, take pride in their work, and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

About the role:

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

·Plan and contribute to menus, specials and seasonal food offerings, considering preparation methods, portion control, customer demand and cost efficiency.

·Estimate food quantities, labour requirements and ingredient needs, and assist with ordering, receiving and managing kitchen supplies.

·Prepare, cook and finish menu items across relevant kitchen sections using appropriate culinary techniques, timing and presentation standards.

·Monitor the quality, freshness, portioning and presentation of dishes at all stages of preparation, cooking and service.

·Ensuring of food safety of dishes served to guests with special dietaries (allergies, intolerances)

·Design a

·Demonstrate food preparation methods, cooking techniques, plating standards and safe equipment use to cooks, apprentices and kitchen staff.

·Advise kitchen staff on cooking procedures, recipe execution, production flow and service timing to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

·Liaise with managers, kitchen staff and front-of-house staff regarding food preparation issues, dietary requirements, menu changes and service standards.

·Maintain and enforce food safety, hygiene, sanitation, allergen awareness, temperature control and workplace health and safety procedures.

·Assist with selecting, training, supervising and allocating tasks to kitchen staff to support consistent food production and service delivery.

  1. Store food in temperature-controlled facilities, manage food storage, stock rotation, and ingredient handling to minimise waste and maintain freshness.

Ideal Candidates

·At least Certificate III or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent in a related field. In the absence of formal qualifications, significant commercial experience working in the given role may substitute.

·Commercial cookery experience for at least 1 year or more is preferred

·Australian experience is essential

·Experience in high-volume dining venues.

·Culinary skills- have expertise in Thai, Italian cuisine

·Strong practical culinary skills.

·Flexible with rotating work schedules.

·Available days, nights and weekends.

·Passion for quality food preparation.

·Focus on excellent customer service.

·Works well under service pressure.

·Maintains hygiene and presentation standards.

·Knowledge of Australian food practice and standards.
