We require a Full-Time trade qualified chef to join our friendly team at our restaurant in Clyde North Vic

About the role:

As Head Chef you will be responsible for motivating and leading a team of cooks and kitchen hands. You will also be responsible for:

·Preparing Menus items in accordance with the standards of the restaurant

·Ordering the stock required for the kitchen.

·Supervising the kitchen staff to ensure superior product standards.

·Effecting shift planning and management

·Managing daily kitchen operations and preparation

·Trailing, inducting, and training Kitchen Staff

·Management and maintenance of all OHS requirements.

·Monitoring Food and Labor Costs

What skills and knowledge do I need?

·Have experience in a similar environment and relevant trade qualifications.

·Have passion for food and experience within busy commercial kitchen.

·Displays excellent communication and listening skills.

·Has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

·Be team orientated with a 'can do attitude' and to multitask.

To be considered for this position, you must have exceptional communication skills and a 'can do attitude' be accepting of responsibility, well trained and team driven. This role requires flexibility to work a roster including weekends and will involve day/night shift and you will need to show a full commitment to weekend work as this is our busiest time.
