About the role
We are seeking an experienced Chef to join the dynamic team at the Merimbula RSL Club in Merimbula, NSW. As a full-time Chef, you will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of high-quality meals that showcase your culinary expertise and delight our valued members and guests.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing a range of delicious meals and dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Ensuring all food preparation and cooking processes meet strict food safety and hygiene standards
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and enhance existing offerings
- Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive, professional demeanour
- Assisting with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed
- Adhering to budgets and cost control measures to optimise profitability
What we're looking for
- Formal culinary training or proven experience as a Chef in a similar establishment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for creating innovative, high-quality dishes that delight customers
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene

Position is Full – Time permanent (38 hours)
Salary offered: $80,000 - $85,000 p.a. with superannuation
