Vista Restaurant at Grammar View Motel is seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. Vista Restaurant offers a fresh, stylish Modern Australian dining experience, making the most of the surrounding views and showcasing high-quality local produce.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality Modern Australian dishes in line with menu standards
- Manage preparation for à la carte dining and room service (breakfast and dinner)
- Ensure consistent portion control, presentation, and food quality
- Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards
- Assist with menu preparation, stock control, and minimising food wastage
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver excellent service
Essential Requirements
- Compulsory qualification in Commercial Cookery
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen
- Strong knowledge of Modern Australian cuisine and steak cookery
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management and attention to detail
Employment Details
- Full-time position
- Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum + superannuation
