We are seeking a Full Time Chef who can work weekdays and weekends shift on a rotating roster to join our team.

The Company employs a roster of Chefs who work to provide high-quality and fresh-cooked meals for our busy bistro and functions.

Our Chefs are able to work unsupervised and follow direction of the Catering Manager, who manages the day-to-day operational needs of the catering services. This is a Full-Time position mainly working and preparing lunch, dinner, and functions.

Candidates must have:

• 2 years previous experience as a Chef

• Be able to work within a team to continue to meet the high standards expected

• Excellent communication

• Relevant qualification of industry skills or proven experience

• Strong management and planning skills

• Attention to detail

• Passion for food and producing high quality dishes

• Driven to achieve high standard and efficient service

The position is required to undertake the following duties:

• Prepare, cook and present food as per recipes quickly and efficiently to a high standard

• Keep the kitchen and equipment clean, hygienic and tidy, at all times to health and safety regulations

• Coordinate with a team under pressure

• Ordering, receiving, rotating and controlling stock

• Ensuring WHS and OH&S is adhered to and maintained

• Communicating with the Head Chef with regards to menu planning

We will provide:

• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Menai, NSW 2234: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
