Key responsibilities
Prepare and present high-quality dishes in accordance with the venue’s standards.
Assist in menu planning and development using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards.
Assist the head chef in leading and training junior kitchen staff.
Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
Work collaboratively with front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service.
Selection criteria
Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience.
Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-first environment.
Exceptional levels of cleanliness and organisation.
Good communication skills.
We are offering excellent working conditions and an annual salary package of $77,000-83,000 plus superannuation.
