HONEST BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PTY LTD is a trusted construction builder working on custom home building based in Adelaide. We are seeking a skilled Carpenter and Joiner to join our team. The role involves both carpentry and detailed joinery works across residential projects, including framing, installation, internal finishing, and custom timber fabrication.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Interpreting construction drawings to determine structural requirements, material types, and installation sequences
- Constructing timber wall frames including studs, plates, bracing systems, and framed openings for doors and windows
- Building and installing roof structures such as trusses and ceiling joists, and installing floor framing systems including bearers and joists
- Ensuring structural alignment, stability, and accuracy of all framed elements in accordance with project specifications
- Installing external building components including wall cladding, fascia boards, and external door and window frames
- Fabricating and fitting internal timber elements such as doors, architraves, skirting boards, staircases, and decorative mouldings
- Manufacturing and installing custom joinery products including kitchen cabinetry, wardrobes, and built-in storage systems
- Carrying out precise cutting, shaping, and assembly of timber components using appropriate tools and techniques
- Working with a range of building materials including timber, engineered wood products, laminates, and composite materials where required
- Conducting repair, adjustment, and replacement of existing timber structures and fittings during renovation works
- Ensuring all carpentry and joinery work meets Australian building standards, quality requirements, and site safety regulations
