As the business continues to expand its mining operations, resource development projects, and supply chain activities, the company is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support business planning, operational reporting, data-driven decision-making, and strategic business initiatives across multiple departments and projects.
Key Responsibilities
·Analyse logistics, supply chain, procurement, and operational data across mining, processing, and project development activities to support business planning and management decision-making.
·Collect, interpret, and evaluate information relating to ore transportation, inventory movements, contractor performance, production activities, and resource utilisation across multiple mining projects.
·Prepare business intelligence reports, operational assessments, and analytical summaries to support management in identifying business opportunities, operational risks, and performance trends.
·Conduct research and analysis on logistics networks, supply chain arrangements, and operational activities to support efficient resource allocation and project delivery.
·Monitor key business and operational indicators and provide recommendations to improve organisational performance and operational effectiveness.
·Support the evaluation of new business initiatives, mining development projects, infrastructure investments, and operational expansion opportunities.
·Liaise with operational, technical, procurement, logistics, and project teams to gather business information and support cross-functional decision-making.
·Assist management in assessing commercial impacts, operational requirements, and implementation considerations associated with business improvement initiatives.
·Develop management reports, business cases, feasibility assessments, and strategic recommendations based on operational and commercial data analysis.
·Maintain business information, analytical records, and reporting documentation to support organisational planning and corporate governance activities.
Skills and Experience Required
·Bachelor degree or above in Business, Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Analytics, Commerce, or a related discipline.
·At least 3 years of experience in business analysis, logistics analysis, supply chain operations, operational reporting, business intelligence, or strategic planning roles.
·Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex operational and commercial information.
·Demonstrated experience in data analysis, business reporting, performance monitoring, and management decision support.
·Ability to collect, analyse, and present business information to support organisational planning and operational objectives.
·Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across operational, technical, and commercial teams.
·Strong organisational, documentation, and report-writing capabilities.
·Experience in mining, logistics, supply chain management, industrial operations, infrastructure, transportation, or large-scale operational environments will be highly regarded.
