Building Associate Full-Time Position Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 per annum plus superannuation

Strong Tower Group located in Brookwater QLD is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Building Associate to support the planning, coordination and delivery of residential, commercial and mixed-use construction projects. This role is suited to an individual with sound technical knowledge of building and construction practices, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively with builders, consultants, suppliers and clients.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist in the preparation, review and coordination of building plans, specifications, contracts and project documentation.
· Support the planning and delivery of construction projects to ensure works are completed in accordance with approved plans, building standards, regulations and project schedules.
· Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress, identifying and reporting any defects, risks or compliance issues.
· Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, certifiers, suppliers, local authorities and other project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
· Assist with project scheduling, procurement activities, resource allocation and cost monitoring.
· Review technical drawings, specifications and construction documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
· Maintain accurate project records, reports and correspondence.
· Identify, escalate and assist in resolving construction issues, project variations and operational risks in a timely manner.
Candidate Requirements
· Relevant qualification in Building, Construction Management, Civil Construction, Architecture or a related discipline.
· At least two (2) years of relevant full-time work experience in the building and construction industry.
· Practical knowledge of construction methods, building materials, Australian building standards and regulatory requirements.
· Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, specifications and construction documentation.
· Strong communication, coordination, organisational and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with construction management, drafting or project management software will be highly regarded.
· Current driver's licence and willingness to attend project sites as required.
