About the role

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, wire and commission 12V DC and integrated 240V AC electrical systems in new caravan builds
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical drawings
- Assemble, install and connect battery management systems (BMS), lithium battery systems, inverters, DC-DC chargers, solar systems and distribution boards
- Install and integrate electric brake controllers, breakaway systems, lighting circuits, reverse cameras, water pumps, appliance wiring and control systems
- Perform diagnostic testing, system validation and fault-finding using appropriate electrical testing equipment
- Rectify electrical faults and ensure systems meet required specifications prior to final quality inspection
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with relevant Australian Standards, including AS/NZS 3001 (Electrical installations – Transportable structures and vehicles)
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations and testing where required
- Work collaboratively with production teams while maintaining trade-level responsibility for electrical integrity and safety
- Adhere strictly to Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) requirements
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years’ post-trade experience as an Automotive Electrician
- AQF Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology (or equivalent recognised trade qualification)
- Demonstrated experience in installation, testing and fault diagnosis of automotive electrical systems
- Strong understanding of 12V DC systems and integration with 240V AC systems
- Experience with lithium battery systems, solar charging systems and power management systems highly regarded
- Ability to independently interpret wiring diagrams and technical documentation
- Proficiency in the use of electrical diagnostic and testing equipment
- High attention to detail and commitment to compliance and safety
- Current Western Australian Driver’s Licence
