Job description:

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Middle Park, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks. 

In this role, you will:

Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care 

Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team 

Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence 

Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide 

About Goodstart Middle Park
* 75 place centre with 5 rooms
* Open 7am to 6pm
* Bus stop right out the front of centre
* Onsite parking
* We share a block with the Park Village Shopping Centre
* Multi cultural and long standing team ranging from trainee to 20yrs + years in centre
* Large Persian, Asian & Indian community (families & centre team)
* Centre Director has been with Goodstart since 2012
* Role is for a float Assistant Director with 2hrs off the floor for AD development training
