Skills & Attributes

• Industry background and experience in HVAC - min 1 year.

• Ability to work autonomously, with minimal instruction or supervision.

• Ability to install and service residential and light commercial heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration (HVAC-R) systems without supervision, including working from drawings and specifications, preparing and fitting brackets and pipework, installing and connecting key components (such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, switches and gauges), testing systems for leaks, commissioning and adjusting system performance, carrying out fault-finding and repairs, and recording work completed and issues identified.

• Ability to maintain accurate service documentation, including recording identified faults, causes of malfunction, parts replaced, and actions taken, and completing required job records in line with workplace procedures and compliance requirements.

• Strong customer service skills. Frontline, face-to-face contact.

• Strong awareness of safety issues in relation to installing equipment, electrical and electronic components, and refrigerant gas safety.

• Very good writing, communication, and organisational skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• A professional approach regarding all internal and external written and verbal communication.

• Through knowledge and understanding of all company policies, related procedures, and systems.

• Current Driver's Licence
