We have an opportunity for an Agency Lead to join Samsung Ads based in our Surry Hills office!

Role and Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and expand relationships with advertisers, media agencies, and trading desks across NSW.
  • Pursue new business opportunities and grow spend from existing accounts across direct and programmatic channels.
  • Create and execute strategic plans to grow Samsung Ads’ digital and advanced TV business within named agencies.
  • Track daily and weekly run rates, identify issues, and collaborate with product/support teams to resolve them.
  • Attend client meetings, industry events, and internal sessions as needed across Australia.
  • Own and deliver against assigned revenue goals for Samsung Ads’ owned-and-operated inventory, including Samsung TV Plus.
  • Stay ahead of shifts in video consumption, advanced TV, and digital media investment patterns.
  • Anticipate client needs, understand decision-making processes, and position Samsung Ads solutions accordingly.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of industry or relatable experience with a significant portion spent working at an agency, trading desk, or programmatic publisher
  • Understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem – particularly in connected TV video
  • Bachelor's Degree; MBA or other advanced degree a plus
  • Experience working in both entrepreneurial and established corporate cultures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good follow-through
  • Experience with selling or using advertising platforms the demand side (e.g., Adobe, Amazon, Google, The Trade Desk, or Verizon Media)
  • Agency or agency trading desk experience overseeing, implementing, and using advertising technology across a large number of brand accounts
  • A strong network and existing relationships across buying and trading teams across multiple agencies
