A market-leading engineering business with sites across Australia is looking to recruit a skilled Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis. Continued growth has led to the position being recruited. The main purpose of the Accounts Assistant will be to ensure all invoicing is done correctly and on time. This is a great opportunity to join a business that prides itself on developing & looking after its employees.
The Accounts Assistant's key duties will include:
- Processing a high volume of complex invoices
- Resolve queries
- Reconcile costs & payments
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Weekly and monthly reporting
- Provide ad-hoc support for queries, analysis, and project work as required
Key skills required:
- Experience of being in a similar role within an engineering, construction, or maintenance environment
- Experience with Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable
- Excellent & confident communication skills
- Confident with systems, including Excel & MYOB
