To support its expanding operations, Kickin’Inn Head Office is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, reporting, compliance, and day-to-day accounting functions.
Salary: $75,000–$80,000 AUD
Location: Unit 2, 72 Canterbury Road, Bankstown, NSW 2200
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain, and reconcile financial records, journals, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, and budget forecasts.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance across all business operations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
- Assist with BAS, GST, payroll, and other statutory compliance requirements in line with Australian legislation.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Maintain accounting systems, internal controls, and proper financial documentation.
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and other professional service providers.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a commercial accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards, taxation, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
